A big thank you as without the kindness and generosity of those who support us. We would not be able to do what we do in helping those with depression, anxiety and PTSD. To help you we have complied a fun guide on how you can have fun and fundraise at the same time!

Do Something Sporty
Whether you just putting your trainers on for the first time to start your running journey or a experienced marathon runner. A gym lover or in to keep fit classes. Using what you love to gain sponsorship and raise funds is a great way to support us.

Fundraising At Work
Have a dress down day, a bake sale, hold a raffle or arrange a bring your dog to work day are all great ways you can have fun in the office and fundraise at the same time.

Celebration Giving
Do you have a special birthday this year? Why not make your day even more special by raising funds for our dogs and the people they support.
Contact our fundraising team and we will be can arrange collection boxes and gift envelopes for you today.

Supermarket and Street Collections
Organise a collection is a great way for you and friends to spread the word about us and raise funds at the same time.
Remember our volunteer fundraisers do not do take part in any door to door collection from peoples homes or places of work.

Wedding Favours
Planning your big day, why not make the day even more special and choose to make a a personal donation to us on behalf of all your guest as their wedding favours.
Fundraising online
In this day and age it easy for people to sponsor you online using their debt or credit card.
It save you from chasing people for money.
It is secure and you know the money will come to us.

Keep it legal
There are a couple of things you need to remember when fundraising.
Street and Collections in a public place
Public and Street Collections require a licence from the local council and permission from the owner or manager of the venue you would like to collect as such as a supermarket. You must wear a ID badge showing you are collecting for us which we can provide you with after you have made the application to your local council.
Collections
The person in charge of the the fundraising must empty the fundraising boxes and range a cheque payable to Paws for Peaceful Minds to be sent to us.
Our Logo
If you wish to use our logo you must contact our fundraising team and they can supply you with a raising money for Paws for Peaceful Minds logo and material to be sent to you.
Keep it Dog Friendly
If you are organising a dog event make sure that the venue is dog friendly.
Food
If you are selling food its important to consider the food safety laws and contact the Food Standard Agency
Alcohol
If you would like Alcohol at the event remember you need a licence to do so. It may be easier to hold the event at a licence premise and ask them to open an bar for you.
Insurance
Make sure that the venue has suitable insurance and if you are holding a public event make sure you have public liability insurance.
Safety First
Its important that everyone at your event is safe so consider the first aid requirements of those participating, the general public (spectators) and your dogs. Paws of Peaceful Minding can not accept liability for your event nor are we able to make sure your event for those attending. Law and Regulations
Fundraising is strictly controlled by both law and regulations and as you are funding raising for use you and Paws for Peaceful Minds can both be fined if the rules are broken. If you not sure please contact our fundraising team.
